It may not be financially/technologically/situationally practical, but it’s an idea I have every time I get the twinge of guilt about driving around in such an environmentally unfriendly car: what about an electric car conversion? I figure by the time I finish my as-slow-as-money-permits restoration, the tech will really be there for exactly this kind of thing. Plus with the 220, I figure I can create a fake floor in the rear to house the batteries.
