Gas filler Rubber Y Pipe Leaking 700

I guess I'll answer my own question. I did replace the pipe that goes between the fuel filler tube in the trunk and the fuel tank. You access this by pulling the trunk liner back and removing the four bolts that hold the cover in place. The rubber hose pipe attaches to the tank at the bung access point. It has a much smaller .5 inch piece that goes over to another connection to the tank and that was ruptured and leaking. The hose cost approximately 70.00 from the dealer.

Here is the trick. The connection to the tank at the small hose was impossible to access. I drilled a 1/2 inch hole in the truck to access the hose clamp.

We have been smelling fuel during fill ups for sometime but no longer!!

Hope this helps someone someday.
