Cooling (Aux.) fan operation 91-780 700 1991

3rd attempt at getting A/C working has held for 3 days. Every component to the firewall (evap)has been replaced. I'm pretty sure the Aux. fan should be coming on with A/C, right. Is it triggered by the ECU? And where is the relay for the fan? I don't have any schematics for this car & could use a little help. Gets down to upper 30's cruising, but really need the fan spinning at idle. Have jumped the fan at the connector & it works. Have only had this 780 a little over a month & have been getting very familiar with it. Cleaning grounds & connectors as I come across them. It was a Chicago car & some connections have corrosion.
