240 Front Rear Control Arm Bushing Right vs. Left 200

Some books and suppliers list two different bushings, right and left, for the rear position on the front suspension lower control arms. Some time ago I bought Boge replacement bushings, which now seem to be unobtainium. The supplier (who doesn't supply Volvo parts any more!) didn't list a separate right and left part. From part numbers I've been able to determine that I have two right (passenger) side pieces.

It looks like originally the Volvo bushings had different rubber characteristics for the two sides.

Now I see that some suppliers still list different right and left bushings and some only list one part number.

Most of the left side bushings I can find now are of dubious brand heritage like ScanTech and MTC. I've not been happy with these company's bargain bin rubber bits in the past. How important is it to have the two different bushings? Why are they different? What bad consequences might happen if I just use the two "right side" Boge bushings I have?
