Add freon without starting the engine 700

I used to can freon. We ran the filled cans through an hot water bath. That was to find leaks and weak cans. The weak cans would of course blow up. we had to do that before shipping the product. Also if the crimp on the top of the can is weak, it will also be noticed. I wouldn't recommend getting it hot.
