1994 960 Coolant Issues 900 1994

Hi all! I have a 1994 960 and now that it is summer time and the weather is finally get warm I have been noticing an issue with the car. After driving around lately not for anymore than 40-50 miles the coolant seems to just evaporate. For instance today I was out and about doing errands and I noticed the smell of coolant and the low coolant light came on the dashboard. Mind you, I have been smelling coolant (esp. when its hot out) now for a couple weeks, the car never overheats though... I add coolant (the Volvo stuff, of course) and continue on my way. I do know that the car had a heater core put in not much more than two years ago by a previous owner. I am not getting any fog on the windsheild and my floor mats are totally dry. Any thoughts or suggestions of things to check are much appreciated. -Matt
