Found a fairly local 1967 122s for sale that I am considering purchasing. This would be my first vintage volvo, and I'm hoping to get some advice.

Car is still with the original owners. A tick under 80k on the clock. Recent brake work, carb tune, and whitewall tires, but the car has only seen a couple hundred miles in the last 4 years or so going off the oil change records. Amp light is on, but there is a newer looking Bosch generator. Original engine and (auto, ehhhh) trans.

Interior has some dash cracks, upholstery splits, and the top of the rear seat is quite gone. Already fitted with push button start. Headliner looks good. Aftermarket cheapy radio fitted.

Interior floors look like they have some rust under the rubber, which it sounds like is to be expected on these cars. They did feel quite solid, but I couldn't tell the extent without peeling everything up. Trunk is for the most part clean of rust, as is the battery box. Some rust on one door bottom, and a bit of bubbling paint on the very bottom of one front fender. Underside looks pretty clean from what I can tell.

Is there anything glaring I am missing? Do you think this is the kind of car I could drive and enjoy, while addressing some issues, but without getting overboard and going down the restoration path? Any input is MUCH appreciated as I'm looking to make an immediate decision and return for the car (or not). Thanks!
