Sigh..... I have that T Shirt...... 200 1983

Great Input. Huge job. No time to build Art's lift and rented an engine lift instead. Under the car and back out 30 times I think. I am sore, but job is done and my daughter took the car to camp for a week happy as a lark. All fixed. Using the lift in conjunction with the floor jack is the key. The lift allows the engine to sort of swing free for adjusting it to take the mounts properly. Takes a lot of patience. The driver side mount is a bear and my dog did not want to hang around me when I am that frustrated. One key to all hard problems with the Volvo is to get away from it for an hour or so and think about it and other things. Nine times out of ten I can go back and fix the problems easily. This board is the best. Hard job that took me a full 8 hours. I too wrapped the mounts with tape. Thanks guys. ~ John
