Unfamiliar wire and plug for engine. 200

Hello again fellas. In recently installing new motor mounts on my daughter's '83 wagon I noticed a loose wire that is supposed to run from some sensor back behind the oil filter. The sensor looks to be in the engine block. But the wire is loose. I do not know what that sensor or plug is for. This is probably a dumb question. I know it is not the oxygen sensor. What is it and where does the wire to it go? I know it will need replacing. Thanks!!!

John
