I recently bought used door panels and replaced the hardboard with new. I don't have the advantage of taking the old panels off the door as the PO had removed these and all trim, handles, switches, etc and put it all in one box. Needless to say its been quite a puzzle to get all these parts replaced properly. Anyway, the question. Do the springs go inside or outside the panels at the window crank and door handle? I'm having a difficult time getting everything compressed enough to get the little clip in the handles.
