Interior Coolant Smell After Sitting 200 1993

Hello,

We're having the hottest and most humid weather here in NC I have seen in awhile.

I noticed the smell of coolant inside the passenger compartment today after the car had been sitting. I drove the car and the smell went away. The car drove fine and there was no loss of power or anything. I parked it and it sat for about 25 minutes. Came back and the smell was there again. I poked around underneath the dash and on the floorboards and did not see anything (yet). The coolant in the reservoir does not appear to be going down at all.

I'm afraid it may be the heater core. My 240 is a very nice well kept one so it would be worth replacing. I'm just trying to explore other avenues that it might be.

Does anyone know of other places that I can check for leaks, etc?
