Inner & Outer Tie Rods 200

I am working to mechanically restore my (new to me) 1988 245. The inner tie rods are slack and the outers have some wiggle as well. I have the CAM rack.

I am somewhat mechanically inclined, I have replace my kick down cable, timing belt, etc.

A local shop will replace them both for 35.00 each side plus 40.00 to align it. That is with me supplying the parts. The Midas shop wanted 400.00. I guess if they touch a car it turns to gold (for them)!

Would you tackle this yourself or let the shop do it?

Thanks,
Hawk
