740 Speedometer/odometer problem 700 1992

I started to do the repair for the capacitors. But there are a few screws that I couldn't get out. I had to put the thing back together. Put it back in the dash. I use the tachometer as speedometer. There is no telling how many miles my 740 has. It hasn't worked in the 7 years I have owned it. It stopped working at 176,000.
