Engine spe, gas mileage 200

I was checking the Gov EPA for my 1989 Volvo and I discovered 2 AT engine types, one had 'EGR' and one has 'FFS'. I looked around for abbreviations and found the EGR - is 'Engine Gas Recirculation' and the FFS is - Fuel Feedback System. Is this correct? and how do I know which one my 1989 Volvo 240 Wagon has?

Also, I have a 1990 Volvo Wagon and I notice these only come with 'FFS' .....was this a change made in 1990 240 Wagons,

Thanks,

89 240 wagon - 135,000
90 240 wagon- 185,000
