Back in a 960 900

Well, almost. This 95-960 will be youngest daughters 1st car. Screen name is dm960 & that's because that's what I had when I signed on many yrs ago. We had 2 960's, a 92 & a 94. Both served us well & each had over a 1/4 million miles when let go. One thing I notice about the 95-964 is the crappy glue on the door panels, way to go Volvo. Would it be possible to retrofit the earlier door panels if the latch assy is replaced with the panel. Looks like the mounting holes are in place for the pre 95 hardware.

And I really notice that the 95 does indeed seem to be lacking the pick up that the 92 & 94 had. Have read for yrs that it was the earlier cams responsible for this. But it's still plenty for a new driver, will instruct her on driving a car with power.

Picked the car up in a somewhat neglected state, but the body & drive train in decent shape. Interior other than the junky peeling door panels looks good too. Radio was missing along with harness. It was hacked off & gone. Wired in an 850 harness & radio. Will be a great 1st ride for the daughter.
