headlights & taillights won't shut off - '95 944 900 1995

Arrived at work this morning, and the headlights remained on when I shut the car off and removed the key (these headlights run through the switch, which is in the dash).

Turned it on and off a couple more times --- result ? The headlights AND ALSO the taillights now remain on when the ignition is switched off !!

(Not sure if it's important - but the parking lamps do NOT stay on with ignition switched off. They function normally in all respects.)

I am assuming this is a failure in the electrical (back) portion of the ignition switch. Car still starts fine, everything else normal.

1) Is the switch the likely culprit ?

2) If so, what ignition switches from what other models will fit my '95 (for my Saturday trip to the yards) ?

3) Finally, while I'm in there, I want to disable the DRL's. If I can't find a non-DRL switch, or one that has the little screw on the front, does anyone know (FOR SURE, NOW !) which wire on the HL switch you cut to disable the DRL's ? (I have Euros on now, so I'd be very, very happy with just parking light and taillight DRL's, but I don't know if that can be done.....)
