Random stall in gear - TPS? 700

I have an 89, 740 B230F that has recently started stalling when placed in gear. The trouble is that the problem is random. Car runs great otherwise and it only happens when going from Park to Drive or Reverse. If I hit neutral fast enough it will keep running. Also, might go a week with no problems. Hot, cold doesn't matter.

Attempts to fix so far are:

Cleaned Throttle Body
Replaced IAC valve
Checked flex hose to inlet for holes
Car runs terrible with AMM disconnected to test.
Cleaned all connectors with contact cleaner.
Checked for vacuum leaks.

Could my TPS linkage be out of adjustment and cause this randomly?
