Dear Spook,

May this find You well. Thanks for your sage advise. I will proceed as you suggest and post back in a month or so (I am away from the car for a while). Unfortunately, the used car dealer that I purchased my 945T from made many such "fixes" as their "drain hole". I have spent a fair amount of effort actually fixing the original problems, but the car has been very good to us and I am glad to have it. Plus, I find that the more that I work on it, the more I get attached to it.
