Thanks for the quick response.
The big issue that I see here is something that I was trying to say with our website. I understand what you mean by focus on the core business, except that the website is simply an output reflecting that very core. The website is a representation of the data that we have on our end, whether it is displaying part of it or all of it.
The missing information (even if it was missing with both parties) as to what wire(s) to go about buying is a problem that usually exists in what platform the core business is built on. I cannot even stress to you how extensive "automotive parts" really is on the business side of things. You as a customer would like to simply know what you are looking at, who made it, and if it goes on your car(s). This is all fine, however the reason I mentioned that we are redoing (literally) every single database and system's workings from your end to every step on our end is because in the big picture this is the kind of problem that "upgrade" is focusing on fixing. Ease of use and "pretty" web pages are a bi-product of this change.
We can't build a house on toothpicks and fill it up with bricks. We are trying to build a house on bricks and fill it up with toothpicks, parallel to how the business is operating now. I can only fix issues like this so many times until its time to stop using band-aids and cure the problem, you know?
One way or another, I can talk to you about our plans for business all day long. In relative terms, did you ever get the correct wire?
