I laughed hard.
He really REALLY wants you to take this car far away, and fast if he used a line like that.
DO NOT try and start it. All the lines need to be checked, gas tank could be rusty, etc...
I was just fooling around with rubber hoses that broke when you touched them on a 1983 Ferrari 308 today. It has 19,000 miles. Guess what happens to rubber lines and hoses when nobody uses them?
