Compression 140-160 1971

We ported properly, with new SS Valves flush with "as cast" surface, and then removed what was needed to get compression down to under 10.5 to 1. We ended up with 48cc per chamber, with our 0.0 deck and an Elring crush to .035 gasket we figure we're at 10.42 to 1. You can see the progression on the other thread. The SS Valves sold by JP (made by SI in California), have a definitely thicker valve margin, which negates their use as a direct swap for factory valves. we didn't go any further with the porting.
