Fuse?? 200 1992

It would seem to be a simple affair to check the fuse, and if it is good, then the problem is elsewhere ...but ...I hear you saying that is not always the case.

Would you please elaborate?

Oh..I did remove the switch and jumped across a number of the contacts ...with the ignition switch on, to no avail. I assume the red wire on the back of the switch is the main power to the switch, right? Well, I am not really sure that I was shorting the right wires, now that I think on it. Should have asked.

I plan to make sure with that red wire and the black one you mentioned.
