ECT replacement - both engine temp sensors the same/compatible? 700

Ok, I think i'm figuring out what I did and why it is somewhat confusing to me.

and I guess I'm replacing the right one, since I removed the front one above the Knock sensor. (anyone have tips on getting it to turn b/c the thing is very hard to put any type of tool around and tighten, I can't get it flush like the original was)

I get code 1-2-3 for EngineCoolantTemperature (ECT) Sensor (aka Fuel Injection temperature sensor???), which is the one I need to really replace and it looks like so: [ http://www.ipdusa.com/version.asp?strPageHistory=search&numSearchStartRecord=1&P_ID=3953&CAT_ID=0&V_ID=9679 ]

Any kinda of confirmation would be nice - I hope I understand which is which and which goes where now.
