Power Seat Module - Seat No Work 900 1993

OK, my power seat has only worked up and back for some time now, no seat back tilt adjustment, no cushion tilt at the back end. Need to fix as another driver will need to use car. Finally got the control panel undone from the side of seat, will try to reflow solder on board in the next night or 2 after studying FAQ. But, I'm thinking of removing the seat to clean up the tracks as the seat will not traverse the entire length. Am I crazy, can I do this without blow the airbag guts all over me and killing myself? Thanks in advance for any input.
