strut replacemnt how to? 700 1988

I will be doing this on my son's 744T in the near future after replacing the rear shocks last weekend.

While I had the car on jackstands I took the opportunity to hit all of the fastners associated with strut tube removal with a wire brush and PB Blaster several times.

My experience from the past taught me that the sway bar links will be prone to breaking off rather than having the nut unscrew.

It would also be a good time to install new cone bushings if needed. Poly bushings there makes the most sense to me.

Goog luck,
Randy
