Throttle body cleaning 200

A few other notes:
CRC makes a throttle body spray cleaner available at Advance Auto.

I used a 13mm closed end (Craftsman) to get that tough nut near the sensor. I had to take short turns. But it will fit with a little wiggle as the wrench is repositioned.

The throttle linkage has a small latch at the top of the plastic attachment. Loosen it to remove and install the linkage. (At least my '92 has one).

Clean the edges of the flapper, both sides.

In addition to other notes posted, these may help, too.
