Engine wont accelerate 200 1991

I have a 1991 240. It idles ok but will not accelerate. It bogs down and backfires. Have replaced the Mass Air Flow and now am getting codes for the Air control valve and O2sensor. Any one got an idea that will help me. Im at my witts end.
