940 turbo speedometer 900 1991

Hi,
Had to jump start my '91 940 turbo wagon after it sat in the yard for a couple months. Used my battery charger at 100 amps for a quick start. The battery recharged over night. The problem now though is that the speedometer starts to rise and then jumps up about 15 mph over the actual speed. It also will fall back, jitter and jump again as I'm driving. Any ideas appreciated. Could something have grown or crawled up into a sensor to cause this, or do you think the speedometer is going bad?

Thanks,
