Engine swap questions: 240 into 940 900

Hi, I'm looking at swapping an engine from a donor 1993 240DL into my 1991 940 (both non-turbo). I've never done an engine swap before, so I have a few questions.

The distributor on the 240 is in the front and the one on the 940 is on the rear of the camshaft. Will that be a problem?

I will plan to use the air intake, injectors, sensors and wiring from the 940. I would plan to change seals (front/rear), T-belt, etc.

What other things should I take into consideration?
