While your doing all of that with the hose's try this, remove the vacuum tree that all the hoses hook into the intake right behind the throttle body--it's held on with a 10mm bolt--take it out --put some sensor safe form a gasket material on it and glue it back in--let set
overnight--you'll be surprised of how smooth your ride will be after that.
