one of my powers windows have failed me 200 1984

Try the easy stuff first: check the switches. The switches unplug from the wiring harness. Then, you can carefully disassemble the switch. There's not much to it: a couple of rocker contacts that ride on a little ball bearing, which make contact with another set of contacts. Get a Dremel tool with a wire brush attachment and clean all contact points. Put a little grease on the ball bearings.

I've had 5 240s and never changed a motor. But I've cleaned a bunch of funky switches, and it's always solved the problem.
