Source for engine wiring harness 700 1987

I have a 1987 740 turbo. After a number of patch jobs, it looks like it is time to finally bite the bullet and replace the engine wiring harness. However, replacement harnesses seem to be out of production. I checked a bunch of shops on the web and they all list the harness for the '87 as unavailable or out of stock. Does anybody know of a source or which of the available harnesses could be modified to fit the '87 turbo?
