electrical idiot light 200 1991

On occasion I have noticed the idiot light light up to let me know when a bulb is out, usually when I replace the dead bulb the light goes out. Now, when I first start out it is on, then usually when I hit the brake pedal it goes out only to come back on again! any ideas? thanks!
