No start - how to replace cap & rotor 700 1991

I'm used to the 240. If a 740 won't start & I have spark (I have to check), is a fuel pump relay likely like on the 240?
2)Oops just read the FAQ. I already had started by replacing plugs(NGK) and wires (Bougicord), but nobody was around to help check for spark & I only had 15 min. but I have a cap & rotor, how to replace? Looks difficult but had no time to check (car is at a friends 1/2 hr away). Before I go over, tools? Do I need my 90 degree phillips screwdriver?
