trans output shaft bearing replacement 900

I've had quite the vibration in my latest Volvo, a 93 turbo. Some if it seems to be a loose output shaft, the mech who looked at it said he was able to shake it back and forth, which I'm told is pretty rare since it has a bearing instead of the bushing the older models had. I cannot find info on replacing the bearing. Is it pretty much the same technique, take off the rear piece of housing and press out/in a new one, and seal? Or is it a really different design. I can't even find the bearing listed anywhere, all I find are the older bushings.
Thanks for any help.
