a/c compressor swap 200 1992

I have a 92 240 sedan,it has an r12 a/c system
I want to keep it r12

I have a replacement r12 compressor
have good a/c system no leaks and had 4# of r12 put in last summer.

my question is how hard is it to swap out bad compressor and put in a replacement?

please understand I am not converting to r134a.
..."if it is not broken do not convert.." is what I was told.
"If you have a working r12 and the compressor is the only problem just swap out the compressor"
