Operating temperature 120-130

Just got my 65 122 back on road today after 2 years of work. What is a good operating temperature?
The air temperature today is 93degrees, after driving home the temp gauge was considerably right of center (I know not to put much confidence in the gauge). I checked the thermostat housing 205-210, upper radiator hose 170, lower hose 170, block sensor 215, radiator surface consistenly 170, all done with an infrared thermometer.
Any opinions?
Thanks
