Electrical Gremlins ... how worried should I be? 200 1993

I have a 93 240 that has recently been giving me hot start trouble.

I thought I might have temporarily cleared that problem up by cleaning the flame trap (see here: http://www.brickboard.com/RWD/volvo/1369285/220/240/260/280/clean_flame_trap_solve_hot_start_problem.html ) which sounds crazy, but it was starting strong every time since then.

Then today, I go to the car and the power locks don't work, the radio is EEE locked and when unlocked, makes no sound (no power to the amp?) and when i try to turn on the overhead interior light, the door-ajar bing sound comes on!!!

Worst of all, while nervously freeway driving home, I lost power for a fraction of a second - a red light came on but the time was so short that I didn't get to see which red light.

I have changed the wiring harness between the alternator and the battery less than 6 months ago. Where should I be looking for this new gremlin? Is it linked to the no hot start?

Thanks in advance for tips!
