The set screw for the pin on the shifter linkage can be a PITA to remove (ask me how I know). I would soak it in PB blaster first. For removal, it helps to hammer an allen key socket into the set screw to ensure you have enough contact to not strip it during removal. If you do strip it, things will really get fun.
