head gasket symptoms, help needed 200

Daughters 245 away at school, Binghamton NY, overheating, white smoke from the tailpipe, coolant boiling out of cap.
Just looked at it, no smoke at idle, coolant at exhaust downpipe, smoke and dripping, where twin pipes join together. I was wondering about the feasibility of driving 50 miles home, will the engine eventually fill with water and come to a stop or do i need to get it towed?
Daughter and I thank you in advance
