Replaced Timing Belt, and Now Sluggish 200 1982

Hi all,

Today a friend and I replaced the timing belt in my new-to-me 1982 242DL (B21) using the rope method since my counter-hold tool wouldn't work.

We accidentally bumped the intermediate shaft, but thought we realigned it and installed the new belt.

Now the car runs sluggish. We'll take everything apart again tomorrow, but I'm relatively new to this - only did it once on my '88 245DL. What could I have done?

Thanks,
Jesse
