Cheap plastic radiator blows up and overheats engine.....is the head warped??

raidman,

Like Steve said, the head gasket is the most common failure after an overheat. The problem is that it often does not fail right away. I have had head gaskets fail a few hundred (Volvo) or a few thousand (Healey) miles after overheating.

So, if you want to be pre-emptive, you might want to go ahead and replace he head gasket now. Then, while the head is off, you can see if it is warped.
