What do bricksters think of the V70XC? Reliable or not? S90-V90

At 6'6" if you can tolerate driving a 240 then you will absolutely love the comfort of a V70. Volvo learned a few things during the 20 or so years between the design of the 240 and 850/S/V70.

Look through the archives on the AWD/FWD forum here for background on the V70 models. Long story short is that the AWD system can be problematic. If you don't need AWD then a FWD V70 is certainly the way to go. Less problematic and better fuel economy. There are common issues to look for, detailed at great length over in the AWD/FWD forum.
