What do bricksters think of the V70XC? Reliable or not? S90-V90

I went from 240/740 to a '97 850T5. Maybe I'm just stuck, but I cannot bring myself to work on this car. I am extremely friendly with the local Volvo wrench and basically get parts for cost, and still just put $900 into this car at 165K. If I was a regular customer, it would have been more like $1500. I needed a radiator, oil cooler lines, rear O2 sensor and a complete PVC system plus whatever those rods are called at the end of the sway bars.

Post 2000 or thereabouts is all VIDA IIRC. I have seen power window switches require the purchase of software to make them work right. Maybe I'm being overly pessimistic, but it is getting harder and harder to DIY on these cars. If money is an issue, stick with 240s if you ask me. My T5 is a blast to drive, but is has also been a parts-whore.
