CA smog 200 1986

Had a smog inspection today, SoCal. Passed. But one reading has me concerned.

First, the physical inspection went well. Although I have the airbox intake blocked off from the pre-heat tube, the tube is still connected.

My NO (PPM) measured 1108 at 15 MPH. Max allowable is 1125, average of all cars passing is 399. So it's high but passing.

Two years ago that same measurement was 139.

The O2 sensor has been in there many years. I would have to dig through the records to find it. That may be the culprit. Also the cat is at least 10 years old.

Any ideas what to check out? Thanks.
