It reminds me of when I was an application engineer for a small high tech outfit. Once in a while some one would call up tell me that our equipment was junk, we were all jerks, my dog was a mutt, the whole nine yards. I would always listen quietly and when they finished blowing off steam, ask them " Are you calling because you want me to help you ?"

Usually the problem could have been solved by reading the manual.
