Embarrassing finding... 700

Problem with my post of last night.

While the 93,94,and 95 cluster will swap into the 91 and 92 cars and the speedometer, odometer and warning lights will work fine it would appear that the fuel gauge will not.

The gauges are definitely different and will not swap. The gauges on the 93-95 cluster will read empty when the cluster is installed in the 91-92 cars.

I am basing this on the results of swapping a 1993 960 cluster into a 1992 car with about 7/8 tank of gas.

I may get a chance somewhere down the road to chase this but as of now I have invested as much time as I have available on Volvo speedometers.

I am sorry if I have given people false hope in solving their speedometer problem.

Randy
