Timing alignment (b230) 200 1985

Where is the correct location for the timing marks on the crank pully, when seen with a timing gun?

At idle my engine runs good. I did put the sprockets each at their correct placement (to the best of my ability). When I tested the timing with the timing light, the marks are to the drivers side of the markings on the shroud. If I had to venture a guess, the 1st (left) mark is to the right of the farthest notch on the shroud. I have not checked it today, and I was tired when I checked it, so my memory might be a bit off.

*I just re-checked it. The left mark is right under the "20" mark on the shroud). From what I got in an email, I'm thinking I'm off by 1 marking. Meaning, I think I need to adjust the timing a bit

Is there a diagram showing the proper placement of the markings online (here or other) or in the Bentley?
