Hi Robert,

Volvo calls that a "lower joint" and identifies two part numbers in its 88-93 parts list, depending on chassis number. Tasca shows the later part number, 6819550, supersedes the earlier, and runs $110 with discount. Scan-tech generally gets parts made where they think they can compete successfully with prices like that. I've had luck soaking the joints in kerosene and working them free - twice.

I don't know what the change was Volvo made - perhaps the CAM gear change - but the last chassis numbers were 475693 (4dr) and 935393 (wagon).
