New Vent Best Upgrade Yet 200 1988

I added a manual vent to my 1988 245 and I believe it is the best upgrade yet. It let's a lot of fresh air into the cabin.

I started with this loaner from a 1986 model.


As you can see my kick panel was already cut out to accept the handle.

I then removed the door jamb and the door edge molding and then prized this little button loose to allow the kick panel to come off.

On my 88 this cover was in place and I removed it to allow the vent to be installed.

That left this hole.

Here is the cover and vent side by side, even the holes lined up exactly

Added some black butyl to seal it up
